Jumping rabbits attract huge visitor numbers at 'grand national'
About 10,000 visitors are estimated to have watched nearly a dozen rabbits compete at a show jumping race in Harrogate, billed as the UK's only "rabbit grand national".
The event, which was organised by Burgess Premier Small Animal Show, was held at the Yorkshire Event Centre over the weekend.
Now in its second year, organisers said the number of fences had to be extended from six to 10. Cherie, a Swedish rabbit won the race with a top time of 11 seconds for the course.
