Man injured in shooting accident at Strensall
A man is recovering in hospital after suffering head injuries in a shooting accident in North Yorkshire.
Emergency services were called to a pheasant shoot at Strensall on Saturday where a man aged 45 had suffered wounds to the head from a fellow shooter's shot.
The man was taken to York Hospital to be treated for grazes to his face.
Investigations were continuing into the incident with the help of the rest of the shooting party, police said.
