The 33-year-old, who grew up in Acomb near York, worked for Surrey Police and had a young son and a baby girl.

Her former partner, 35-year-old Peter Foster from Haslemere in Surrey, has been charged with her murder.

"Her life was her children, her family, her friends and her job."

Paying tribute, Craig Denholm, the deputy chief constable of Surrey Police, said Miss Cooper was a "super mum, a super person and, indeed, a super cop".
