World of Narnia recreated in Pickering Parish Church

Scenes from classic novel The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe have been recreated in a church in North Yorkshire using thousands of flowers.

Fifty volunteers spent seven months preparing for the flower festival at Pickering Parish Church which is based on CS Lewis' famous children's book.

The festival features the book's main characters, from Aslan to the White Witch, all of whom have been placed in fantasy settings created almost entirely from flowers.
