Villagers in the Yorkshire Dales save their local pub

A village pub in the Yorkshire Dales has been saved from closure after locals raised £300,000 in three weeks to buy it.

The Foresters Arms at Carlton in Coverdale was shut earlier this year and its owners put it up for sale.

Its new owners hope to re-open the pub by Christmas.
