Man killed in A342 Wedhampton crash named

A 79-year-old man who died hours after a crash on the A342 in Wiltshire has been identified by police.

Frank Shipway, from Devizes, was driving a Jaguar XJ8 when it collided with a Vauxhall Astravan, near Wedhampton, on Tuesday evening.

He was taken to hospital but later died of his injuries. The other driver, a 20-year-old man from Devizes, was discharged.

Wiltshire police is appealing for witnesses to contact them.
