Swindon underwear workers lose jobs in Triumph move

Triumph, Swindon Up to 70 workers have lost their jobs after the decision by Triumph to move its distribution work abroad

Up to 70 workers at a lingerie distribution centre in Wiltshire have lost their jobs.

The move by Menlo, which packed and distributed underwear for manufacturer Triumph, was caused when the company moved its distribution work to France.

Menlo is closing its warehouse in Swindon.

Triumph cited "cost and efficiency" reasons for the France move but said it could not comment on the Menlo decision.
