Dr Michael Chong Kee Lok Dr Lok has been struck off the medical register by the General Medical Council

A Bristol doctor who pleaded guilty to taking indecent images of children has been struck off the medical register.

Dr Michael Chong Kee Lok, who worked at Great Western Hospital, used his phone to film people at the Bath University Sports Village swimming pool.

The doctor is serving a three-year community order and was placed on the sex offenders' register for five years.

The General Medical Council (GMC) held a two-day hearing to decide whether he was fit or not to practice medicine.

He is also on a sex offender programme as part of the community order.
