Boy bailed over Trowbridge's Clarendon Academy fire

A 12-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire in toilets at a Wiltshire school has been released on bail.

Firefighters dealt with the blaze in the science block at Clarendon Academy in Trowbridge on Wednesday.

Police arrested the boy at about 13:30 GMT.

Wiltshire Police said its inquiries were continuing and urged anyone with information to contact them. The boy has been released on bail until May.
