Clarendon Academy arson suspect, 12, arrested

A 12-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire in toilets at a Wiltshire school.

Firefighters dealt with the blaze in the science block at Clarendon Academy, Frome Road Trowbridge, at about midday.

After "making the scene safe", Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service contacted police who arrested the boy at about 13:30 GMT.

Police ask for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
