Wiltshire pedestrian killed in A36 collision

A pedestrian was killed when he was hit by a car on the A36 in Wiltshire.

The man was struck near to the Brickworth Corner junction, at Whiteparish near Salisbury.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said officers were working to locate the victim's next of kin.

The road was closed for a number of hours after the crash which happened shortly before 17:00 GMT on Wednesday.
