Swindon hospital bus routes axed after money runs out

Some bus services running to Swindon's Great Western Hospital are to be axed after funding for the routes ran out.

Both the 20b and 30 services were run by Thamesdown Transport by money from planning agreements for the hospital which opened 10 years ago.

But Paul Jenkins, from the bus firm, said the routes were not being used enough to justify continued operation.

Several other services have been altered including the no. 11 route from Haydon Wick to East Wichel.
