Car fumes from slow moving traffic are causing increasing problems in the town of Devizes in Wiltshire.
Tests show traffic jams are causing the levels of nitrogen dioxide in the air to rise beyond European safety limits.
The gas can lead to breathing problems and now local people are being asked how to clean up the air.
