Wiltshire Police seize illegal tobacco

Police in Swindon have seized hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of illegal tobacco that was smuggled from China disguised as tea.

Wiltshire Police said the seizure followed a two-month investigation.

The 600 packages of vacuum packed tobacco were mailed to the UK and picked up from various parcel depots and courier offices in the region.

Two men living in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, have been arrested.
