Swindon stab death: Teenager charged with murder

A 19-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering a man who died after being found on a Swindon street with stab wounds.

Charles Millar, 44, who was known as Roger, died after being attacked at Barnum Court, Rodbourne, on 6 June.

Shelton Thulani Sibandi, of no fixed abode, appeared at Chippenham Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody.

He is due to appear before Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday.

Wiltshire Police have arrested five men in connection with the death.

A 27-year-old man remains in custody.

Two 18-year-olds arrested on 6 June and a 17-year-old youth arrested on 7 June, have been bailed to report to police in July pending further inquiries.
