A public consultation over the future of waste and recycling sites in Wiltshire has come to an end.

Wiltshire Council said it wants to review the use of mini recycling centres to help save £250,000.

A spokesman for the Conservative-led council said the move followed an increase in people using kerbside collection.

The survey asked residents how they used the authorities recycling facilities and how savings can be made.

A spokesman said it recycled more than 700 tonnes of plastic bottles and cardboard every month from the kerbside.
