Miles-Per-Gallon Marathon begins at Cotswold Water Park
A two-day, 400-mile fuel economy marathon drive across Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and Somerset has started at the Cotswold Water Park in Gloucestershire.
The MPG Marathon is designed not only to test the most economical cars but the drivers' fuel-saving techniques to lower fuel consumption.
The "winner" is the team which gets the biggest increase on the manufacturers' official MPG figures.
