Swindon murder suspects granted police bail
Two men being held on suspicion of murder in Swindon have been released on police bail.
The pair, aged 24 and 25, were arrested on Tuesday night after a 50-year-old man was found unconscious at a house in Westcott Place, Kingshill.
The man, named as Terrance Jeffery John Curtis, was taken to the Great Western hospital but died a short time later.
A post-mortem examination concluded that Mr Curtis died as a result of head injuries.
Police said the arrested men had their time in custody extended by a superintendent in the early hours of Thursday, but were released without charge on police bail pending further inquiries.
