MH17 crash: Father's tribute to lost son

The father of one of the Britons on board flight MH17 has paid tribute to his son who he described as a "tremendous bloke".

Newcastle United fan Liam Sweeney was travelling to New Zealand with fellow supporter John Alder for their team's pre-season tour.

Barry Sweeney said he feared the worst when he heard about the plane coming down.
