Rehearsals are under way for a new choral work which celebrates the culture and heritage of County Durham and the North East.
"Canny at Neet, Bonny at Morn" by Newcastle composer Will Lang and is in four parts - sea, home, land and mines.
The choral is a mix of classical and folk tradition and will be performed by a 150-strong choir from the Durham Choral Society.
The concert will be held at Durham Cathedral on 10 May.
