Lisa Banks murder: Police search for Robert Tiffin

Detectives investigating the murder of a woman in North Tyneside are searching for a man believed to have been in a relationship with her.

The body of Lisa Jane Banks, 46, was found inside the Sole-O barber shop on Nile Street, North Shields, at 11:20 BST, Northumbria Police said.

Officers want to trace Robert Tiffin, also 46, and believe he may have been with the victim before her death.

Mr Tiffin is described as being white and around 5ft 10 ins tall.

He has short brown hair, tattoos on his hands and both sides of his neck, police said.

Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach him but to contact police immediately
