Durham Police charge three after drugs raids

Three men have been charged with drugs offences after a series of dawn raids by Durham Police.

Two men, aged 40 and 35, from Easington, County Durham, and a 27-year-old man from North Shields were arrested on Wednesday morning.

They have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs and appeared before magistrates earlier.

A fourth man arrested in the joint operation with the Serious Organised Crime Agency was bailed.
