Heart surgery baby allowed home for the first time

A baby who has spent her whole life in hospital after being born with half a heart has been allowed home to North Tyneside for the first time.

Jessica Muse has had nine operations and open heart surgery twice at The Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.

Now, at five months old, she has been allowed to go home. Her parents Dominic and Claire, said it was the "best Christmas present ever".
