Peter John McMahon death: Three charged with murder

Three people have been charged with murder after the death of a 68-year-old man on Tyneside.

Peter John McMahon of Hawthorn Terrace, Newcastle, was found at the Sycamores, Elswick, on Saturday.

Sharon Swinhoe, 43, of Crawford Terrace, Newcastle, Joseph Collins, 53, of the Sycamores and Ronald Douglas, 76, of West Acres, Blaydon, Gateshead, were charged by detectives earlier.

All three will appear at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
