Floods put Newburn flats in danger of collapse
A block of flats on Tyneside remains in danger of collapse after the worst storm for 30 years hit the north-east of England.
The foundations of the properties, in Newburn, near Newcastle, were almost washed away in floods that have left hundreds of homes across the region deluged.
Structural engineers have set up a cordon around the building, which it is said, could collapse "at any time".
