County Durham runner takes Olympic torch to Kenya slums

A man from County Durham who ran with the Olympic torch barefoot has taken his torch to Kenya.

John McBride ran the torch relay barefoot through Barnard Castle last week for aid agency Cafod.

The next day, the 48-year-old flew with his torch to Nairobi and led a mini marathon through the Korogocho slums before donating the torch to a sports centre there.
