Olympic torch relay: Sage abseil

Day 29 of the Olympic torch relay started in Gateshead with Richard Jackson abseiling down the front of the Sage music centre.

Among those who joined him on the roof of the Sage before the abseil was Northumbrian piper and folk musician Kathryn Tickell.

Crowds turned out to watch the abseil, both inside and outside the landmark building on Gateshead's Quayside.
