Body found in River Tees in missing Stockton man search

Police searching for a missing Teesside man have found a body in the River Tees.

James Miller, 28, was last seen in Stockton on Thursday. Cleveland Police said the body had been found near Chandler's Wharf in the town.

Mr Miller's family have been informed although formal identification has not yet been carried out, police said.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place but police are not treating the death as suspicious.
