A motorcyclist who died in hospital following a crash had been visiting Teesside for his young son's birthday, police have said.

Christopher Graham suffered serious injuries in the collision with a car on Apple Orchard bank between Saltburn and Skelton on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old, from Lingdale, died earlier at Middlesbrough's James Cook Hospital.

He had been working in Sheffield but had returned for the birthday.
