Destroyed Redcar Lakes Estate sports pavilion replaced

More than £250,000 has been spent on a sports pavilion to replace changing rooms destroyed by fire.

The new building on the Lakes Estate, Redcar, including six changing rooms, will be used by football teams and officials.

It has been part funded by Redcar and Cleveland Council.

Councillor Mark Hannon said the loss of the pavilion had been a "real blow" and he was "thrilled" it would be replaced by "excellent" facilities.
