Man denies abduction and sex with girl, 14

A 21-year-old man has denied abducting a 14-year-old girl and having sex with her.

Sean Clode, from Hartlepool, entered not guilty pleas to sexual grooming, abducting a child and two counts of sexual activity with a child.

Teesside Crown Court court heard that the alleged offences with a girl from Scotland are said to have happened over a four-day period in May.

Clode, of Glamis Walk, was bailed ahead of his trial on 23 September.
