David Clark death: Middlesbrough man denies murder

A man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a 33-year-old man in Middlesbrough.

David Clark was discovered with serious head injuries in Cornforth Avenue, in the Park End estate, early on 9 February.

He was taken to James Cook University Hospital, but died later in the day.

Mark Hall, also 33, and of Cornforth Avenue, denied murder. The judge at Teesside Crown Court remanded him in custody, to go on trial on 10 July.
