David Clark murder inquiry: Middlesbrough man charged

A man has been charged with murder after a 33-year-old man died of head injuries in Middlesbrough.

Police were called to Cornforth Avenue in the early hours of Saturday, where they found the victim, David Clark, seriously injured.

Cleveland Police said he was taken to the town's James Cook University Hospital, but later died.

The suspect, a 33-year-old year local man, is due to appear before Teesside magistrates later.
