A Cleveland Police officer was wedged against his patrol car when a stolen vehicle reversed into him.

The stolen car hit a parked vehicle on Clough Close in Middlesbrough on Sunday, then backed into the officer who had arrived at the scene.

It then made off a short distance before crashing into other parked cars.

Two people were arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking. The officer was not injured.
