Motorcyclist dies weeks after Stainforth crash

A motorcyclist has died more than two weeks after colliding with a car in North Yorkshire.

The 64-year-old man from Stockton was injured when his yellow Triumph Tiger collided with a black Toyota Rav4 on the B6479 in Stainforth on 11 August.

The man was on his way to Ribblehead in a convoy with 10 other bikers when the crash happened.

North Yorkshire Police said all of the bikers were wearing fluorescent jackets and appealed for witnesses.
