Three in hospital over Stockton contaminated drugs scare

Three people have been admitted to hospital after it is believed they took contaminated drugs.

Two men aged 23 and 25 and a 22-year-old woman from the Parkfield area of Stockton are all in a stable condition in James Cook University Hospital.

Cleveland Police said the drugs looked very similar to blue diazepam tablets but were a paler shade in colour.

Two men and a woman have been arrested for possession with intent to supply a controlled drug.

Anyone who may have taken any similar drugs has been advised to go to hospital.

Police said they could not rule out a connection with a recent incident involving contaminated drugs in Hardwick.
