Lee Clark charged with manslaughter of baby son

A 27-year-old County Durham man has been charged with the manslaughter of his five-month-old son.

Lee Clark will appear at Peterlee Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Charlee Cameron Clark, who lived with his parents in Neville Close, Gainford, near Darlington, died in Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary in March 2011.

Police were alerted by hospital staff who were concerned that the baby had serious head injuries.
