Black ice warning to drivers in Teesside

Motorists in Teesside are being urged to take extra care after black ice caused a number of accidents.

Cleveland Police issued the warning to drivers, with the Hilton, Redmarshall and Yarm areas worst affected.

Two vehicles overturned earlier and one remains in a ditch on the A67 towards Durham Tees Valley airport.

A separate collision on Leven Bank, Yarm, involving a lorry and a car has blocked the road. No-one has been injured.
