Plans for Middlesbrough business park get go-ahead

Plans for a business park which could create 1,500 jobs on Teesside have been approved.

Middlesbrough Council is hoping the venture on the site of the former South West Iron Masters will attract renewable energy companies.

The council will be working in partnership with developer Wynyard Park.

Construction work will begin next year on the Riverside Park site, between the River Tees and the A66.
