The Princess Royal showed her support for the farming community as she toured the Ardingly showground in West Sussex on the opening day of the South of England Show.

At one of the biggest events in region's farming calendar, visitors were exchanging stories of the wet winter, which finally gave way to a good spring.

South East Today's Yvette Austin spoke to beef farmer Robert Tedbury, sheep farmer Ann Griffiths and beekeeper Brian Hopper.
