A second man has been arrested by police investigating a fire in West Sussex which killed a 24-year-old man with learning difficulties.

Terry Davies died in the blaze at the flats in South Terrace, Littlehampton, on 12 September.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of setting fire to a car in the town the previous day.

He is being questioned by Sussex Police, which believes the blaze could be linked to the fatal fire.

A post-mortem examination showed Mr Davies died from the effects of breathing in smoke. Four other people required hospital treatment.

The fire, which had been started with white spirit, is being treated as arson.

Sussex Police said a 29-year-old man from Bognor, who was arrested on suspicion of murder in February, has been re-bailed until 8 May.
