Driver held over death of Lisa Watling in Crawley crash

The driver of a car whose 28-year-old passenger died after the vehicle hit a fence has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Lisa Watling suffered fatal injuries when the BMW Z3 she was travelling in crashed in Crawley Avenue, Crawley, West Sussex, on 9 March.

The 35-year-old driver, who was also injured, was arrested after being released from hospital.

Police said he had been bailed until 13 June while investigations continue.
