Birling Gap cliffs collapse prompts warning

The coastguard and the local council have warned visitors to stay away from the cliff edge at Birling Gap, in East Sussex.

It follows an especially high tide during the week which caused a severe fall in the chalk cliffs after a 30ft (9m) crack appeared
