Arrests over East Sussex girl abduction

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of child abduction following the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl.

The girl from East Sussex, had last been seen getting into a black car at Haywards Heath railway station on 7 January.

On Friday evening Sussex Police said she had contacted officers.

A 33-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man and 16-year-old boy have been released on police bail until 11 April.

Sussex Police said the three, all from Newhaven, were arrested on Thursday by officers searching for the teenager.
