Steel worker Peter Sinden dies in A27 crash
A man who died in a head-on collision between a car and a 4x4 in East Sussex has been named as 57-year-old steel worker Peter Sinden.
Mr Sinden, from Cavalry Crescent, Eastbourne was driving his Vauxhall Meriva east on the A27 at Wilmington on Monday when the crash happened.
His family said he was a founder member of South Downs MG Club.
The funeral, on Thursday at Eastbourne Crematorium, would celebrate his life, they said.
The driver of the Land Rover Freelander, a 58-year-old Seaford man, was treated at Eastbourne District General Hospital for slight injuries but not detained.
The A27 was closed between Wilmington crossroads and the A2270 Eastbourne Road at Polegate for several hours while crash investigators were at the scene.
