The search has resumed on Monday for a teenager who got swept away from Newhaven beach.

Dylan Alkins, 14, had been swimming with friends off Newhaven's West Beach on Sunday when he was "swept away by the current", Sussex Police said.

A police helicopter and RNLI lifeboat have been used along the shoreline for several miles either side of Newhaven in the search for Dylan.
