Man charged with Rustington stabbing murder bid

A 24-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing at a house in West Sussex.

Two men were injured in an incident at a property in Oakhurst Gardens, Rustington, on Friday.

Sussex Police said a 47-year-old man from Rustington was in hospital recovering from multiple stab wounds.

A man from Angmering, who was also injured during the incident, is due to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court later.

Sussex Police said a 44-year-old man from Rustington, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, had been bailed until 7 October.

A 52-year-old man from Rustington, who was also initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder will not face any action, according to the force.
