Baby boy dies after collapsing at Pontins holiday camp

Pontin's Paramedics were called to the holiday resort at Camber Sands in the early hours of Thursday

The death of a four-month-old boy at a holiday camp in East Sussex is not being treated as suspicious by police.

Paramedics were called to an apartment at the Pontins resort in New Lydd Road, Camber, at about 04:30 BST on Thursday.

The baby was given emergency resuscitation and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Sussex Police said his death was being treated as unexplained and had been reported to the coroner. No-one has been arrested.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place next week.
