Bognor test-drive crash man sought by police

A man who crashed the car he was test driving into a wall before fleeing the scene is being sought by police.

The driver was seen limping away from the wreckage after the silver BMW crashed in Fish Lane in Bognor Regis, West Sussex on Friday.

He was described as skinny and wearing a light top and dark shorts. He carried his shoes in his hands as he fled.

The wrecked vehicle was left blocking the road. Officers are appealing for witnesses.

Sussex Police said they believed the man had arranged to test drive the car with the vehicle's owner, who was selling it.
