Bianca Jagger speaks of support for Balcombe protesters

31 July 2013 Last updated at 21:18 BST

Environmental and human rights campaigner Bianca Jagger has spoken to BBC South East about her support for protesters opposed to plans for exploratory drilling for oil in West Sussex.

Energy firm Cuadrilla planned to start drilling near Balcombe on Saturday, but has been delayed by seven days of protests by campaigners who fear the tests will lead to hydraulic fracturing, or fracking.

Cuadrilla said it would need fresh permission to carry out fracking.
